It is with a heavy heart that we remember Alisa, our dear friend, a tireless warrior, and an irreplaceable part of our Predator Awareness family. Alisa was so much more than a colleague to us—she was the heart and soul of our mission. Alisa joined us from day one on 2nd September 2019. Alisa’s unwavering dedication to protecting those who need it most has made a permenant mark on everything we do. Her commitment, compassion, and tireless work ethic helped shape our organization and its mission in ways words cannot fully capture.
From the moment she stepped into our lives, Alisa brought with her a unique light—an energy that radiated warmth, hope, and an undeniable sense of purpose. She wasn’t just someone who worked alongside us. She was a protector, a fierce advocate, and a voice for the voiceless. But most importantly, Alisa was a saviour for children. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to the mission of ensuring that no child would ever face the unimaginable alone. Whether it was providing support to victims, supporting their parents, raising awareness, or lending a listening ear, Alisa was there—on the front lines, making a difference. The strength and love she brought to this cause will forever be etched into our hearts.

Alisa had an incredible way of making every moment feel meaningful. Her laughter could brighten the darkest days, and her kindness was a comfort to those who needed it most. Her spirit was pure, her heart genuine, and her belief in a better world unwavering. In every conversation, every interaction, Alisa made you feel seen, heard, and valued. She gave without hesitation, and her love for humanity was contagious.
But beyond her extraordinary work and accomplishments, Alisa was simply a wonderful person. She was someone you could turn to in times of joy or sorrow. Her presence was comforting, her words wise, and her loyalty unmatched. Alisa had an unparalleled ability to make you feel like everything would be okay, even in the face of adversity.
To say she will be missed doesn’t even come close to describing the void left in our hearts. Her absence is profound, and the world seems a little darker without her bright light to guide us. But we take solace in knowing that Alisa’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. The children she helped, the families she supported, and the community she built—all of these will carry her memory forward.
Alisa’s dedication to the cause she believed in was a testament to her character. She was never one to back down in the face of difficulty. She kept fighting, no matter the odds, because she knew what was at stake. We vow to honor her memory by continuing the work she so selflessly dedicated her life to. We will fight for the causes she fought for, and we will protect those who cannot protect themselves—just as Alisa did, day after day.
To Alisa’s family—John, Danielle, her grandkids, and all those who loved her—our hearts are with you. We cannot begin to imagine the depth of the pain you must be feeling, but we hope you can find some comfort in knowing just how loved, admired, and respected Alisa was by all of us. She was truly one of a kind, and her loss leaves an irreplaceable hole in our hearts.

Alisa. You will never be forgotten. Your work, your love, your laughter, and your incredible spirit live on in each and every one of us. You may no longer be with us in body, but you’ll live on in our hearts. Your legacy will continue to shine brightly, lighting the way for others just as you always did.
You were an angel here, and now you’re an angel in the sky. Goodbyes are not forever; goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean, I’ll miss you, until we meet again.
And I’ll always miss you my dear friend, and until we meet again, sleep tight girl.
