Today marks a turning point. The charges against Zack have been officially dropped. After months of delays, intimidation, and institutional silence, the Crown Prosecution Service admitted in court they could not secure a conviction. The trial—meant to begin Monday—will not go ahead. The hearing lasted barely two minutes.
Zack the Co-Founder of Predator Awareness will be home soon. His release now rests with probation and offender management. We await their paperwork to end the recall.
Let’s be clear: this was never about justice. This was a calculated attempt to silence HMP Prisons Justice Group and Predator Awareness and the communities we stand with. From day one, this was a stitch-up—an effort to derail our work, discredit our voices, and protect the very systems we expose.
Zack’s arrest was retaliation. He stood up for families, stood up against the deaths. He confronted institutions that ignored abuse. He supported survivors and he supported grieving families. And for that, they tried to bury him.
But they failed.
We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced and we will continue to hold power to account. We do this because the system won’t. And when the system tries to punish those who speak out—we speak louder.
Zack’s return is not just a personal victory. It’s proof that truth, community, and resilience can break through even the most cynical attempts to suppress us.
We’re not going anywhere.
A message from our founder, Tom.
“Today confirms what we have known from the very beginning – that Zack had no case to answer. He has lost nearly six months of his life when he should have been out here enjoying life with his family and friends. He should never have been recalled. We welcome the CPS decision to drop the charges, but that decision has come five months too late. We hope Zack is released at the earliest opportunity and we cannot wait to welcome him home, where he belongs.”
