Former Wolves captain Karl Henry has come under scrutiny following an offensive remark that was inadvertently recorded during the weekend’s fixture between Boldmere St Michael’s and Kidderminster Harriers.
Henry, now manager of Boldmere St Michael’s Women, was caught on audio saying “Fuck that bitch” in reference to Tash Tezgel, who was not involved in the match. Tezgel currently manages Leafield Athletic.
The incident reportedly occurred under the assumption that no recording was taking place. However, the club’s Veo camera system—commonly used to film matches for analysis—was still active and captured the audio.
The footage has since circulated, prompting criticism and raising questions about conduct within the game, particularly given that the comments were directed at a fellow manager outside the context of the fixture.
Predator Awareness has contacted both Boldmere St Michael’s and the FA Women’s National League requesting responses to the incident.
At the time of writing, neither the club nor league authorities have issued a public statement.
The situation is likely to place pressure on Henry and Boldmere St Michael’s as governing bodies review the matter and consider whether disciplinary action is warranted.
