A Llanelli man who carried out a shocking campaign of voyeurism against a woman has been jailed after a court heard how he secretly filmed her inside her own home, damaged her property and left her terrified of what he might do next.

Christopher Gary Jenkins, of Llanelli, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on 9 April 2026 where he pleaded guilty to serious offences including voyeurism under Section 67(3) and (5) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, and criminal damage under Section 1(1) of the Criminal Damage Act 1971.

The court was told Jenkins had covertly recorded the woman without her knowledge, invading her privacy in what prosecutors described as a “deeply disturbing and predatory breach of trust”.

When confronted, he caused damage to her property behaviour the judge said showed “a clear disregard for her safety and wellbeing”.

Jenkins was sentenced to 11 months in prison, placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years, and handed a five‑year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim until April 2031.

The judge stressed the “seriousness of the offences” and the need to protect victims from harassment, intimidation and abuse, warning that Jenkins’ actions had caused “significant emotional harm”.

The offences that the offender was convicted off were extremely serious , but the penalty for what he did fell well short of what the public expected !!

Whilst Christopher walked free in months, he victim has to live the the traumatic violation of her privacy and disturbing circumstances.
